Rubik's Cube...Impossible or Not?

I did it! I really did it!! I mastered the Rubik's Cube. Macie has been wanting one of these for a month or so now and so all the kids decided to each buy one last week with some of their Christmas money.
They came all nicely done in their packages and within about 3 seconds each of our kids had their cube all mixed up.
I thought I would get on the internet and see if I could find some hints of how to solve it, but then I checked the packaging and saw that they came with some instructions. I tried in the car on the way home from Toys R Us, but even the instructions seemed impossible to figure out.
Well, I would play around with one of the cubes a few times a day as I fed Paisley and I would figure out how to understand a little bit more of the instructions each time...and about 10 minutes ago I mastered it!! I always thought these things were impossible, but from start to finish I did it in about 10 minutes.

I seriously am so impressed! I have one too and we mess around with it every once in a while, but I must admit the only time I can get it to look like that is if I pull it apart and smash it back together one color at a time. Good Job!

That is awesome. Jana's husband Mitch got the instructions off of the internet and tried to tell me how to do it. I guess that I didn't spend enough time trying to master it!! I could always get one side but not all sides. Anyway--

Good job! The kids got Jaren one for Christmas and they take turnss messing it up so he can fix it. He didn't realize it came with instructions and threw them out so he spent some time on the internet learning how to solve it.

Go you! I've never been able to do it. I can get, like, two colors done, and that's it. I know it's some kind of pattern; back in the 80s they used to have blindfolded Rubik's cube contests. (Ah, the things you learn on I ♥ the 80s on VH1!)

You're awesome!! I'm not that patient! I would be the one to take the stickers off and put them on again in the right spot!!

Good job on your success. I don't know if I would be patient enough. also Paisley is adorable, and the pictures turned out so cute. If I pay you will you take pictures of my baby when he finally gets here?
