So I went to the doctor on Tuesday and found out that I am 2 cm dilated. I don't remember how far I ever dilated with Bridger, one appointment they said I was at a 3 and a few days later a different doctor said I don't know what they were talking about, you are barely a 1. And that is the last I remember with being dilated with that pregnancy.
But we are excited that things are progressing, and I have to admit that I am getting nervous to have a new baby at home. I am not afraid for delivery, just the late nights and crying and still having to deal with all the other things that 3 other kids bring into our lives. I am sure that it will all work out fine and that I will be thrilled with our new little baby.
We decided to schedule a day to get induced so I will feel good by Christmas. The date is set on Monday December 15th. Only 11 days left! I hope that I will go into labor before then, because I don't necessarily want to be induced. I like the excitement of not knowing when it will come and will we get there in time. With Bridger from the start of the first contraction till he was born was about an hour and 30 minutes. It was so fast and I was hoping to have another similar story. But we decided that if the baby doesn't come by its due date (the 19th) then we didn't want to take the chance of being at the hospital on Christmas or even Christmas Eve. This way I will feel pretty good by Christmas. If this was our first baby, then being in the hospital at that time of year wouldn't be awful, but since we have other little kids at home, I want to be here and feel good for Christmas.
Just a few Pregnancy Photos for my own enjoyment.

I am so excited for you, but know the feeling of wondering how you are going to take care of one more. You will do great, and the girls can come and play anytime so you can sneak a nap!!!
Hey Janae! It's Janae (moser) Lowe. I found your blog through Nicole's and I thought I'd say hi and Congratulations on the new baby! Your family's VERY cute, and you sound like such a cute mother!! Good Luck with the new baby. Do you know what you're having?
YAY! I actually really liked getting induced with Ivy. It was awesome to be all packed and ready to go before rushing around between contractions. You are a fabulous-looking pregnant woman, by the way.
Good luck!!! I loved being induced as well. It's just so much smoother and less stressful. I can't wait to see pictures.
I have been induced with all three of mine and I love it. I don't think I would know what real labor felt like. It is wonderful to be oblivious.
Hey! What a cute pregnant mother you are! Good luck with the delivery and can't wait to see pictures when she arrives!! Take care of yourself and enjoy these last moments of not having a newborn! :)
I cant believe tomorrow is the big day. Cant wait to see pics. Good luck with everything.
To answer your question on my blog...YES we are in our new house! We love it, but there is still so much to be done. I can't wait until it is all done. We have been in for about a week. Pics to come on my blog. Had that baby yet???? Andrea
